This is a general forum. It doesn't say it's specifically for the 360 or otherwise.

Somehow I doubt FedEx scratched the console. If it was scratched during shipment, then there's just as good of a chance that it was due to poor packaging. Assuming the shipping box wasn't damaged, then I doubt it was poor packaging if they use a similar
packing system like they did with the 360's. It sounds a lot more like it was mishandled during the repair process.

They must wipe it, as the OP has stated.

They may not do it with the one`s like they did with the 360`s.

The scratches were probably due to them taking the console apart and reassembling it. Does the 360 have the glossy black like the original Xbox 360 S, if so, you'll eventually get scratches anyways. Sorry to hear that you had problems.

but then you lose your gave saves. i don't this at all. i am gonna move all my games to my external hard drive for sure.

That's no excuse, and very poor reasoning. If you send in something for repair, you should get something back that's in the same condition (but with the issue fixed obviously). If I took something in for repair and returned it in worse condition than I received
it then I would get chewed out, and rightfully so. I've had my 360e version for nearly a year now. Even with cats in my house that jump around, it's in pristine condition without a scratch on it.

This reminds me of a telescope I bought a few years ago... The electronics didn't work, so I sent it in for a repair under warranty. The thing I got back had scratches and dust on the inside (not acceptable for a telescope). The manufacturer had such poor
service that I called up the reseller, explained the situation, and was able to get them to replace the scope and deal with the manufacturers instead.

is it with a bubble wrap when they sent it? or with just a box alone.. i mean is it well padded?

It's the same serial number. I sent it out and paid for expedited shipping and the got it in 2 days repairs was done under a week . I check statues repair and it read sent to customer. I checked the tracking and it was unavailable. It took FedEx a week to
pick up so it sat there I called the service center and they told me it been out for delivery. As soon as I opened the package to see how they treated my xbox one.
