I got my xbox one back from repairs.

I got it back with scratches. I kept it scratch free cause I like to take care of my stuff especially when you send 500 bucks. When I took it out of the box the first thing I saw was scratch marks like if they flip it upside down on a table with nothing
on it to protect it. They don't care cause they did not spend the money. I just want you guys to know if you send it in send it with a note do not scratch my xbox. I was *** off it was full of prints and scratches.

An issue about the beta and my microsoft points

I recently joined the beta on my xbox slim and got around £6 worth of microsoft points converted, However I sent my xbox in for repairs and got a new one back ( I sent it to the official xbox repair service thing) and when It came back all was fine apart
from that I was nolonger in the beta, I had no microsoft points and everything was back to buying stuff with microsoft points.

I sent my xbox one S for repairs and I got it back and it still doesnt work, what do I do

I sent my xbox one S in for repairs about 2 weeks ago because it was not turning on at the time, I got it back a few days ago and it was working just fine for about 3 hours and now it wont turn back on again. Its having the same issue it had before I sent
in in for repairs. What do I do?

 

Probably wasn`t the one you sent to them.

When they fix 360`s they just send you one thats already fixed,then when yours is fixed it gets sent to the next guy in line.

Maybe thats now what they do with the xbox ones too.

 

^^ If they do that then what about all of your info on the hard drive?

 

Have you tried contacting support and telling them this? I would think they would let you get a replacement.

 

It's the same serial number. I sent it out and paid for expedited shipping and the got it in 2 days repairs was done under a week . I check statues repair and it read sent to customer. I checked the tracking and it was unavailable. It took FedEx a week to
pick up so it sat there I called the service center and they told me it been out for delivery. As soon as I opened the package to see how they treated my xbox one.

 

They formatted the HDD I had to install everything all over again.

 

Don't MS tell you to wipe everything from the disc anyway? Iwas told before sending my 360 off to remove the HDD or I'd lose everything on it. I just assumed everyone wiped all their stuff from the HDD before sending the item off, as most companies state
you'll more than likely lose everything on the HDD/internal memory whether it be a console, mobile, tablet etc.

 

I have 2 limited edition 360s that need repairs but wont send them to MS to do it.Chances are the consoles they send back will be someone elses used plain console rather than my Gears of War and Halo Reach ones.

I think if ms thinks about this this could be illegal. When you buy something and ship it back or take it into the store to get it fix you must have the same one returned. But of course ms has all these little tos agreement to protect them even if they do
wrong. @droxcy I hope that Major Nelson gets this fixed but I think hes a small fish in a big sea. They need to do alot of changing to please the customers that have kept them in business

 

This is why YOU are supposed to KEEP your HDD, Faceplate, cables and other things you wanna hang on to. You woludn't leave a car at the shop with a your cell phone and wallet inside...

You may get back a Console/ Case/ Left over working parts/ other than the ones you sent in.....

The system will work upon delivery. Nothing Illegal when you sign the contract......... IMO Local Stores are a better choice if out out warranty.

@BongKaos - You're seriously trying to blame the OP because they wiped his hard drive and scratched up his console? Wow, some people...

So, he's supposed to break the TOU, disassemble his X1, and remove the hard drive first? They would have sent it back because the warranty seal was broken.
