I got my copy of Far Cry 5 disc version at Gamestop, its installed and updated but says I ...

So I got my disc version of this game at gamestop, I installed it on my xbox one system 500GB version, I noticed that under Microsoft store it reads it as

The product is installed.

You can play this game for now or buy it to own.

$59.99+

I can't rate the game at all, under this it reads

Rating on Xbox

You are unable to rate or review as you do not own this product.

I also brought the season pass for the game at gamestop, installed the season pass first then the game, in any case it downloaded one item as far with the season pass, I have had some problems with my xbox ones drive in the last year, I have had to remove the
disc then put it in a second time to get it to read the discs, ever since the last few system updates to the xbox one it seems to be having problems reading a few discs like final fantasy xv game disc too, I been able to play the game just fine and it seems
to read the disc fine the second time I ejected the game then put it back in the second time it seems to read it, anyway I don't no if that has any reason as to why it saying that I don't own the game I pay for from gamestop in the Microsoft store page, also
I got the game from an gamestop store here in Redding, CA. I think I may need to replace my xbox one system with a newer model at some point, when the drive fails to read discs if that happened in the next few years maybe or sooner I think I would buy a system
with a bigger hard drive like the 1TB model system at some point, my xbox one system reads the message "out of warranty" already, I have read that others are also having the an drive disc reading problems too online, I don't no how long they have had problems,
it seems like the last few system updates must of broken some reading software in the drive itself or an disc upgrade to the hardware has gone wrong if microsooft patches the software reading features in these blu ray drives maybe or its as simple as my xbox
one drive needs cleaning since it does seem to read the discs the second time I put the disc into the drive after ejecting it once.

but that doesn't explain why I can't rate my brand new game on its far cry 5 page you used to be able to rate new games that you got, its not allowing me to post it under Rating and Reviews section for this game or post of a review , since I do own the physical
version of this game that I just got from GameStop the other day.

it reads "You are unable to rate or review as you do not own this product." and also says Below product is installed. You can Play this game for now or buy it to own.

Again I do own it as the Physical Disc version of this game, I don't understand why I can't rate my Physical copy of this game, I don't have this problem with my other Physical Xbox games online, just this one copy of far cry 5 disc that I got this week from
my local GameStop's store is having this problem.

and I also got the season pass from my local GameStop store, again I don't have an problem rating my physical final fantasy xv game disc online, it just seems to be an bug with this game only online at Microsoft store,

again it not should matter if its an digitally game or the physical version the page saying rating and reviews page is disable for my copy of this game since its still reading it as not owned., so I can't rate or review my physical copy of this game,

again the problem is only effecting this game as far as I can tell.

the only other bug maybe I noticed on my xbox one system is my final fantasy xv game is pulling up rare achievements for the windows edition for Final Fantasy xv Xbox one addition game, when I not accessing the system in its screen saver like mode. but that's
not related to this problem at all with this far cry 5 game.

 

again the problem is with my physical Xbox One Far Cry 5 game saying in Microsoft store that I don't own it, so I can't rate my store brought game from GameStop. , that's the problem I was trying to report here, today the disc is reading just fine, I uninstalled
it and then reinstall it, then did the updates but still the Microsoft store is saying that its installed but is not letting me rate it , its still saying that I don't own the game message even thou I have my physical copy of it installed on my Xbox one system.
I hope that better helps explain the problem so it can be fixed in the next updates if that's possible, or this problem needs to be fixed maybe in the next Xbox one system updates if its a bug in the Microsoft store app or if its a bug in our physical copy's
of far cry 5 game, the update for this game so far was small it said under 200mb in the patch file size that it needed to download, unlike my other Xbox one games that seem to have updates in 20GBs instead at least a few of them, it was smaller patch it need
to download, so far anyway.

I hope this problem can be fixed but again the lack of it saying that I don't own it in Microsoft store doesn't effect it being playable, no problems playing the game on my system, only problem is just that I can't rate it as far as I can tell on my side of
this problem.

 

ok I need to make a correction this problem seems to be effecting a few games in Microsoft Store , I just checked my physical copy of Assassin's Creed@ Origins, also has it as not owned and has Rating and Reviews disabled, maybe an update
to Microsoft store app on the Xbox One system has broken being able to rate and Review Physical copy's of these games, since the problem seems to be with more than just my new Far Cry 5 game, since it seems to be effecting a few new and old Physical games
now. Fallout 4 game also has Rating and Reviews disabled too now it seems for my physical copy of that game too.

I guess either this is a new system bug or Microsoft disabled rating and review page our Physical copy's of Xbox One games discs since they don't read as owned anymore in Microsoft store app on our Xbox one systems?

can anyone else confirm that their physical copy's of these games also will not let them review and rate them?

since this is not effecting digitally brought games in Microsoft store app , its just the physical title disc versions of any of these games being installed and reading now as not owned in Microsoft store app on our Xbox One Consoles which seems to disable
rating and review page for our physical Xbox One Games.

 

Hi there!

Unfortunately, it may be that you are not able to rate content that you do not own digitally. To be sure, does this happen when the disc is in the console as well?

Keep in mind that with discs the disc is the license for the game and it is not stored on your console like digital games.

yes this happens when the disc is in the console's Blu Ray drive under the Microsoft store app, for you currently cannot rate and review any physical disc based game in the store app on the Xbox One. their seems to be currently no problems rating digitally
games or addons.

my xbox one Microsoft store app, does not allow any of my physical discs games now to be rated and review feature in the Microsoft store when the disc is in the console it was telling me that I don't own the games , I hope that this is an error and that's its
fixed in the next apps updates for Microsoft store since you used to be able to rate & review your games if their digitally and disc based games too, the rate & review still works for the game addons , just not the main physical disk games themselves I hope
that into help, also I switched over to the dev firmware to try out its new features since this problem is on the standard firmware anyway before I upgraded the firmware for my xbox one console, I think you can opt out of the dev firmware and go back to the
standard firmware on the console if you want I think anyway, I hope this better explains that yes I was talking about the disc being in my console and the rate and review just not working for the main games, any digitally addon for games still work right for
rate and review feature in Microsoft store, I think one of the new downloaded app updates for Microsoft store broke the physical disc rating and reviewing feature on my black xbox one system with the 500GB hard drive it has included, their has been a few disc
read errors where I had to eject the blu ray game disc and put it back in for my final fantasy xv game the second time in the disc read correctly, its been a problem that only started happening in the last year, and my console says its out of warranty already
too on that note, at some point I think if I every buy a new xbox one I would get one with 1TB hd size since it seems like I am always moving games from my xbox one hd to my 3.0 usb 4TB hd , since that 500GB hd fills up fast with all the xbox one games that
I own already in physical disc format.

 

Here are some tablet camera jpg images, I installed the physical disc based game on my xbox one system , and this is what it shows for my game after installed and updated. I used pics on my tv set to show what my xbox one is displaying about this game, same
for final fantasy xv too its installed from the disc but reads the same as product is installed, and shows the buy to own right on the side of play for these games with the disc in the drive, I have Far Cry 5 in the drive when it reads it as installed as you
can see from the screen shoot its showing the rating and review screen as saying the don't own the game while the disc for the game was in its drive on the console system.

 

cannot rate any physical disc content from my xbox one, also having an problem with Final Fantasy XV Day one Edition showing up as Final Fantasy XV Windows edition from its game hub, under manage game I can still get to the xbox one
version but rating and reviewing is missing from the xbox one version of final Fantasy XV which maybe related to Far Cry 5 game saying that I don't own it and reading you are unable to rate this content message from Microsoft store, anyway here are a few more

This is the other game problem, I don't no if these two problems are connected or not. since the Windows edition of that game show up on my console, it has not been able to rate & review the xbox one edition on that console, it reads that as owned but this
new game is not reading as owned under Microsoft store, again I don't no if these problems are related or not. I don't plan on uploading any more jpg images, I think at this point I don't need to add any more images of these two problems from my xbox one,
anyway I do hope both of these problems get an fixed in any case.
