I got my account hacked and I'm not getting anywhere.

10 days ago, I got my Microsoft account hacked somehow. All of my emails and passwords and even my phone number for verification was changed. I tried logging in a few times and i had no luck. I then went to my Gmail and changed my password on that since I still had that. I had absolutely no emails or texts from Microsoft saying my password or email was changed. I tried logging into my Xbox account on the Xbox home screen, but it asked for e verification code which i didn't have since my phone number was changed. I then tried to login to my Microsoft account through my laptop which i had got the previous day and it said that an account with that email does not exist.

I tried contacting support, and I filed two account recoveries which both failed, and they didn't work even though i provided tons of information and proof that it was mine Afterwards i contacted an agent who guided me through getting my account back and said that they will respond to me within 72 hours. It's been a week and i had no response so earlier i messaged and agent again who said that they had already sent an email out. I have no emails at all on that Gmail that i provided and they said that they can't help me since the email has already been sent. I don't understand why I'm not getting emails back from Microsoft support. I asked if i could change emails, but they said i couldn't.

After that person logged onto my Gmail to get my Microsoft account details, I've been getting no more emails from support or anything at all. i checked all of my folders, rubbish etc. I just really need help I've got years of progress on that account, and I don't want to lose it.

If you have an existing case number you may need to reach Microsoft with that number to see if there is an update

The problem I'm facing is my Microsoft account got deleted and cannot be recovered for some reason, I wanted to get back my minecraft account in my hacked Microsoft account.

Sorry 75million. Sony admitted to losing that many accounts personal info and/or credit card info. I'm not even sure anyone had money stolen from their cards...I'll have to look that up.

I have to admit major nelson getting his account hacked is kidna funny....getting your account hacked is entirely different than hacking into an entire network though.

I'm happy for you, I really am that you got your account back. And I hope everyone gets theirs back soon. But have you considered the fact that - with your filing with the BBB, someone else's case got shoved out of the way? See BillowyPanther4's post up

Yes, I'm frustrated - but not enough to file a complaint and perhaps *** over a fellow gamer.
