I got muted for messaging "killurself" to a person on my team who couldn't win the game,...

Title says pretty much all of it. I wish I sent him a voice message because if a person reviewed it, it would've been obvious it meant in game.

We were playing GTA Online, Motor Wars. My team got their stuff pushed in and it was a 5 on 1 where the one guy left was being chased with no weapons to defend himself. So the guy was just running away and prolonging the inevitable. It was the last round and the way the game works is every 45 seconds or so the zone shrinks so we're looking at like 15 minutes of this guy running away with no hope of him winning. He kept crashing and getting small amounts of health taken, only to drive off a cliff so the enemy would back up and go after him again. He was 0-3, 3 deaths and couldn't drive to save hos life.

I message him in text, "killurself". He reads and and starts intentionally wasting time, running away, shooting the ground. Nbd, I get up and grab a drink and check my phone. I come back and people are basically yelling at him to stop wasting time and kill himself.

A half an hour later, I'm muted. On the website it says for minor suspensions and such you don't get a chance to appeal it. I'm pretty sure he reported me out of spite. Which leaves me with the impression now, I just can't even enjoy the connectivity of online gaming. The one time I actually say anything to someone, I get screwed over. Like man, Xbox really doesn't care about their customers. I was LITERALLY going to get an Xbox X this weekend but I'm going to see if PlayStation is the same with rule enforcement. If not, I might jump ship or just buy a computer. I know Xbox doesn't care about the measly 10 thousand or so I've paid them over the years (I've talked friends and family into buying one over the Playstation) as opposed to all the rest of the money they've milked out of all of us but man, it's kind of a kick in the - to realize they don't care. This mute is a joke. Some guy spitefully reports me and I can't do anything about it. I'm mad as heck about it too. I'm going to yell at a poor Xbox Customer service agent tomorrow if this is the case and I can't even just say, "My message was obviously taken out of context.".
