I got Minecraft Windows 10 with my old Surface Pro. How do I move it to my new computer?

Context, I recently got a new computer and I'm in process of downloading all my old games again, but I've hit a roadblock. On my old computer (A surface pro) when I got the laptop Minecraft Bedrock was already installed. I did not buy it nor did i get it free with another purchase. It just came with my computer.

Now I'm trying to redownload it on my new computer, but when I go to the Microsoft store, it says I have to purchase it, it seems no one else has had a problem like this before. But it is tearing me apart

I don't have the funds to buy Minecraft Bedrock (Since i just bought a new computer) So I desperately need a way to fix this issue with Microsoft store saying my account doesn't have Minecraft Windows 10

Please help.

I'm also having this problem on Surface pro 4 for Mahjong and Sudoku. Just downloaded and tried minesweeper and it's doing it there too. I actually have no problems playing these games on my old Surface pro 1 (with windows 10 installed on it too). The only
game that works on surface pro 4 is Microsoft Solitaire Collection.

I wanted to all a bit more insight to this issue. I just got out my original Surface Pro that I haven't used since October when I got my Surface Book. All the games sign in without issue. It's currently running Windows 10 Pro. I checked updates and its currently
downloading Windows 10 version 1511, 10586.

Once it finishes downloading and updates, I'll try again and see if I'm still able to log into my Xbox live games.

Is anyone else able to test an older version of Windows 10 as well and see if they are able to sign into Xbox live and play their games?

Make sure it is the right type of minecraft you are trying to play.

I have, i have Minecraft Win 10 on my old PC and that’s what i’m trying to play on my new Surface.

I am having the same problem as you except i got my minecraft from when java gave out windows 10 version for free for people who had the game since before october 2018 i downloaded the windows 10 game a year ago and got a new pc but when i logged into
the same account i got the game on it didn't show the game in my library or my billing orders as if the game never existed in the first place even though i played it countless times in the past on my old computer may i please know how i am supposed to fix
this it is very frusterating considering i cannot play with my friend on the windows 10 version right now.
