I got invited to the preview, but when I launch the app I get an error.

I bought my xbox one used from gamestop, and the error is

Sorry this console has already been registered to a different account.

please help!

Problem with the Preview Program

Hey guys!

I was invited to test the Sea of Thieves Technical Alpha a couple of days ago but when I open the Preview App to get access I get an error code. "Error making HTTP call (HTTP Code: Unauthorized, Correlation ID StatusCode: Unauthorized". Anyone having the
same issue? This code pops up in a spam like pattern, as in it pops up again and again, every time I try to log into the Preview App.

 

Xbox Preview Dashboard Error

So I recently got invited and accepted into the Xbox Preview Program. I had an update earlier and installed it successfully, however now when I open the Dashboard app, it asks me to update it but the app update ALWAYS fails and I can't access the app.
Can someone help? Sorry for posting this here but I can't access the Preview Program forums.

 

Being invited doesn't mean you have been accepted, However if you have been accepted you should be able to get into the early access forums, It would be best to post on the Preview Program Support where they should be able to sort your problem out.

 

I am not sure how you would remove a previously registered console from the preview program. Someone in the forums may have experience with this specific issue.

 

Seen lots of these in the two years I have been in preview.
