    I got hit offline


    I was playing a game of save the world on fortnite and, I admit this is wrong but i took a weapon from 3 other players trading. I was then invited to a party several times, i joined and not at anytime did they ask for it back. I hear my home state being
    said and moments later I get a message saying my accoubt got signed out and the internet on my phone went down. Can i get any help with this?

    hello my gamertag is Kae9ine, and I got booted offline, I was playing fortnite when it happens I had won the game and the last guy in the game invited me to the party and my Xbox got very laggy, and it said connect to Xbox live, The persons gamertag is Hiyir

    Got Hit Offline While Playing Dubs

    'When they asked you to stand in the middle so they could kill yall the one question I have is why did you do it. They could not kick you and your partner offline, so what were you worried about?'.

    If you don't think you can be kicked offline by other players you don't realise just how wrong you are. The best advice for the OP is to not ever join suspicious parties and avoid players like this, though that's very hard in Doubles.

    If you think you've experienced a DoS or DDoS attack, we recommend that you reset your Internet router and contact your Internet service provider (ISP). If you know who initiated the DoS or DDoS attack,
    you may also want to submit a player review to Xbox Live and avoid the attacker in the future.

    The Denial-of-Service attack is focused at a specific IP addresse. Change it, and the attack no longer affects you.



    0) Go on a computer to www.ipchicken.com and record the current external IP addresse.

    1) turn off the Xbox and unplug the power supply cord from the back of the Xbox then

    2) unplug power from the router (Some folks have a combination modem-router AKA 'gateway' or only use a modem with no router. If either, skip steps 3 & 6).

    3) unplug power from the modem.

    4) Wait at least 5 minutes then replug the modem/gateway power.

    5) Wait 'til the light on the front of the modem/gateway which says BROADBAND, ONLINE, READY, CABLE or DSL is on solid (not flashing), then plug in the router. If you have a gateway instead of a modem and router or a modem with no router, then when that
    light says it's ready, skip to step 7.

    6) Wait until the WiFi light on the router is on; you may or may not use WiFi, but it's still a good indicator your router is finished booting up.

    7) Plug in and turn on the Xbox.

    8) Go back to computer to
    www.ipchicken.com     and compare the external IP addresse. If it did not change, contact your ISP and ask them for help in changing it.
