I got hacked and I have their gamer tag - help

So I was playing MW3 and I killed the last guy in search and destroy, he then sends me a message saying "goodbye to all your stats" a message comes up on my screen in loads of different colours and I get kicked, I go back into multiplayer and it says my
stats are from an older version of the game and I need to reset my rank to continue, I've tried clearing my cache and deleting the corrupt file he downloaded onto my xbox but it still says I need to reset my stats everytime I go onto multiplayer, making progression
impossible. This guys gamer tag is - BasidialDrop864. Is there anything I can do to get my rank back and ban this guy? He must be using something major to be able to do that.

I am posting this to see if anyone else has recently had their accounts hacked and information has been changed. My friends and I are at the mercy of a hacker who we suspect is [MOD REMOVED]. He has hacked into my friends gamer tags, sent
out offensive messages and got their gamer tags banned. He also hacked their Live accounts so all of their Battlefield 3 unlocks have been erased. Please report this individual for system tampering if you come into contact with him. I also have an audio recording
of this individual admitting to being a part of the Anonymous hacker group.

My Xbox account got hacked a few years back and the hacker charged to my account and it took considerable time and effort toget the situation handled. he used a vulgar name tag on my account . i got disillusioned with the process to change my game tag
and abandoned xbox live. Now that i am using a windows phone the game tag shows up on my phone whenever i want to play a game. i do not feel i should have to pay 9.99 to get this vulgar name off my phone and my account that got hacked. Please help

 

First of all you shouldn't use other player gtags on the forums or ask for the ban of their accounts. If you think you have been wronged or harassed online use the report or block feature from your console.

Do you not understand that this guy has managed to download a file onto my Xbox? He's going around resetting everyone. Blocking him on my console isn't going to fix the problem is it?

 

It's not possible for him to download something to your Xbox. He would have modded the game. You would have to contact the game's publishers about getting your rank reset, but as far as through Microsoft, you would need to file a complaint on them via the
console and block communications with them.
