Your firewall is your isps responsiblity

And as stated before they can't detect something that doesn't go thru their network

Your xbox runs they private protocols thru the xbox network it's. Not the same ports as they are attacking

Ddos is something done to your router not your xbox

There is no way to trace something they cannot see as they aren't attacking the xbox ports since it's private protocols not to mention you wouldn't be disconnected from the net if that happened

An attack on the xbox log in servers would affect millions not just you as proven with the lizard squad attack and you would still be able to access the net

However an attack on your router would knock your router off the Internet along with anything in your household but not affect other users on xbox liv

And yes the ISP has their own firewalls

That again is on your ISP and Their firewall

The isp is fully responsible for your Internet access and protection of your router

A properly setup firewall can block most attacks

That's who you should be asking

Isp will only refer punishment for xbox live actions but not a ddos

That's between them and the local law enforcement or national

And your trying to say that Microsoft doesnt care about people getting knocked offline the problem is Microsoft cant enforce something they can not see Microsoft can only see things that are done to their service they can not see what is done to your personal
