I got banned from social services.

To whom it may concern,

I got banned for a week starting today from all Xbox Live services, because I called someone a "lucky twat". It wasn't the right thing to do, I admit it. But the fact it was the third time I had reported him for unsporting behaviour, as he wasn't being a
fair player during the game I was playing, calling someone lucky isn't offensive. Twat wasn't appropriate however, even though in most schools including mine, it is not considered offensive. Now, I've been with Xbox Live for 9 years now. I've reported at least
20 players. None have had any action done to them. Most of them were of arabic origins. I do not understand, why when someone insults me in Arabic, it is different to English, and therefore, are not banned???

Please give me a second chance Xbox, I want to enforce the community from cheaters and unsporting players, but when I report, nothing gets done.

Hello, i got banned from sending messages to people and posting on social media because two people kept on team killing me and i got mad. i said the F word to them and got banned please unban me.

I got banned from both social and ranked game modes, but i dont know why. Please reply and explain to me your reason for banning me for no reason.

The enforcement team do not use the forums.

You can go to the enforcement site
here for info on your suspension & to file for a case review if eligible.

That word has 2 meanings,one of which is not suitable on xbox live.

Sometimes the enforcement team will send you a thank you message if someone receives enforcement action due to a report you've filed but that is very rare.Other than that you will not be told the result of any report you file so won't know if these people
have been suspended or not.

No I havent been banned from the online play thankfully and I was actually on the bioware social network forums

the person got banned cause he was on social media talking about everything they wanted to keep secret. they he would have been fine if he just played it and kept off social media but everything was on twitter for a while, you wont be banned now since microsoft
has lifted and let the reviews released to the public.

I'm sorry to hear you had such a bad experience in a party chat.

However, by using the C word (even in retaliation), you actually broke the Code of Conduct as well, and therefore got banned, even if the other person also harassed you.

In such cases, do NOT retaliate yourself.

If you are offended or harassed by another person, report them, and then immediately mute and block them, so they can't talk to you anymore.

Then have the enforcement team handle the rest. As you see for yourself, the Enforcement Team works, and will act on your report if you really reported a Code of Conduct violation.

If you still think that your suspension is unjustified, you can try to file a Case Review on https://enforcement.xbox.com/

But be aware, that you can only case review a suspension that is actually LONGER than 24 hours, as the investigation necessary to check your Case Review can take two working days, in which your account stays suspended. So you'd actually make the suspension
longer if you had the chance to case review 24 hour bans.
