i got an Xbox one update at 3.5GB?????

I guess you are in the preview programme and already running the new dashboard.

If so Microsoft have been releasing almost daily updates for the past week or so and you have probably missed one of the updates so by default the console has downloaded the complete dashboard again.

Just finished the update, I hadn't been on in a couple of days and I think there was a large update recently. Don't worry the 3.5gb is not a reset or anything.

I turned my xbox on to check up on the update and now theres no update. When I checked latest update status under settings, it reads update pending..wtf is going on with all these updates?theyre not even working.

My Xbox is currently downloading the 3.5gb update for the third time in 7 days, it's getting ridiculous.

I even turned it on last night to make sure it didn't need any updates, 6 hours later.. I need a 3.5GB update again.

Seems to me this is a serious issue, it's making the Xbox worthless as I can't reliably play on the *** thing.

I did have an invite to the preview program but I think on installing it I never accepted the terms and conditions, so I shouldn't be in it, nor do I have any software for it installed since I had to do a factory reset.

Any ideas why it's always wanting me to reinstall this patch every few days? To me it seems the thing is faulty.

I would suggest uninstalling the game (the 3.5GB you got), powering down your xbox all the way, then unplugging the power for 30 seconds and then booting it back up and retrying the install
