    One day when i started a game my xbox said that i had to log on the user that bought the game. the problem is that i was logged on. so i have a problem with both the connection between the account and the xbox.

    "Xbox Mute" mutes the TV not Xbox. Done.

    "Xbox Unmute" to reverse.

    not sure if mine was the same issue, but when i got my adapter and hooked up my TB headset, i was getting the game sound through the controller and from the TV at the same time which gave an echo and sounded awful.

    i ended up turning down the game volume on the adapter as far as it would go so the sound was only coming from the TV and that worked for me.

    Check your settings mate. Make sure you audio settings are set to headset.
