yea. can Microsoft just make me not pay because i just got a free month and i thought it would tell me if I wanted to not pay and cancel or pay on continue, and i went out of state for a week so yea.

Removing Xbox Live

I was given a 1 month free trial of Xbox live upon purchase of my system. This month the membership automatically renewed and charged me $9.99. I have been attempting to terminate my membership because I did not want to pay the $9.99, but it appears as
though Microsoft has made it very difficult to remove your membership. Any suggestions?

Renewal Payment

Ok, so last month I used a prepaid credit card to get a month labpass and Iran out of money on itso I didn't want to keep paying for membership. But this renewal thing already charged me I was luckily able to turn off the auto renew right now but not the
payment. I tried finding a way to contact support but I don't know how honestly. I think this is how. Hopefully the person that reads this can help. I am requesting a removal of my membership of this year because it charged me for something I didn't want to
pay for and I don't plan on paying for it. So please take off the membership that I got charged for, for this month. Thanks!

If auto-renew was enabled, it would automatically charge you for anoth month's subscription. You can cancel the auto-renew in your

account settings.

Are you sure they charged it as in an actual charge or just an temporary hold they will be removing? that could be a possibility of why they charged you for it

The free trial was free.

I didn't have to pay for that.

Then I paid 19.99 for the game.

I got it to work. I just had to delete and redownload a few times.

I'm having a very similar problem. Got a month's free trial, bought 12 months, can get Xbox live if my profile's signed out, but as soon as I try to get online signed in i get error code 800704DC. JOKE. It's a disgrace that we pay all this money and there
are no solutions. I am in Spain and do not want to have to pay further money to get some halfwit tell me 'turn your router off and on again.' Absolute joke. I'd be happy to boycott anything related to Microsoft in the future. Unreal.
