I got a communications suspension for a small reason.

Hello to whoever this may concern, but today I received a 24 hour communications suspension for what i'm assuming is because of a message I sent. The message was in no way intended to "offend" the player, it was simple light trash talk on a competitive game.
This is the message that I had sent "b@$ch a#s play" and I got a suspension. The other player decided to tell his/her friends to report me and I'm guessing I had about 3-5 people report me at once which I believe is unfair. I understand I violated a code
of conduct term but I believe that when you get a suspension you should still be able to communicate with your friends not just cut off from everyone. Also to the fact that video games that are played on the xbox game system have more extreme foul language
in them is acceptable but me saying two curse words it not. Please message me back regarding to this post.

Got a communication suspension which really isnt new to me. But for some reason my online features for games dont work. XET told me in the case review it was a communication suspension only and online features would still work. But for some reason online
features stopped working im stuck

 

I Got A Suspension For No Reason

You can view your ban by logging in at enforcement.xbox.com and filing a case review from there if eligible. The enforcement team does not use the forums.

 

It doesn't matter how many people report you, the enforcement team will only issue a suspension if they determine you have done something to violate the code of conduct (which you did), so it only takes 1 valid complaint to receive a suspension. Since it's
a 24 hour suspension, it is not eligible for a case review, you so all you can do is wait it out.

Video games are rated due to foul language, but everything else done on Live has to remain E for everyone.

Suspensions are meant to be a form of punishment for violating the code of conduct. Being allow to talk to friends would not really make it a punishment.
