I gifted my son cod cold war and it is telling him code is not redeemable?

My husband gifted Monster Hunter Iceborn to my son. He tried to redeem the code and it keeps telling him to check the instructions that came with his code. We have tried redeeming it on his phone as well, with no luck. If anyone has any idea how to redeem
this code it would be appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Hi, I am trying to help my son redeem his gift card and after keying in the numbers it prompts us to the next screen asking to select a payment option of a credit/debit card or paypal. I should not have to enter this information if he has the gift card.
Can anyone help me with this?

Then he goes into Roblox, it tells him to select a plan. He clicked join now and entered his code in and it says that it is not a code from a gift card. But it is a gift card.

My bad I said I gifted myself Call of Duty Cold War but I didn’t say to were. The account is named BROSKYxEQUAN that’s the account I gave Cold War to.

If you mean, can you redeem MS Rewards points from your account for a gift card, then give that to your son, the answer is yes, as you're emailed a code that you can then give to him so he can redeem it on his own account.

Xbox gift cards are automatically deposited into your account. They do not send a code for those.
