  1. I get kicked out of every XBOX live game I play, and can't join or play parties.


    I can play a minute or two on COD2 then I get kicked out and my profile signs out.

    Also, if I try to join a party with a friend it says there may be network errors. It seems that all my local friends I cannot connect to, but I can play in a party with other people from around the world as long a they don't have comcast.

    We tried the network connection test, I turned off my Comcast **** modem firewall, cleared the storage cache, but still no luck.

    I removed my credit card from billing so I am not paying anything until this is fixed... It has been going on for a few weeks now.

    We live in Indiana, we have one xbox, we have a comcast modem with built in wireless that we are using. Again, I shutoff the firewall and it did nothing. I restarted the router but nothing.

    So i got it yesterday but i noticed instantly that it was rather slow turns out i can't play games or play on xbox live my xbox freezes when i join parties like this new update kinda of sucks @@@

    Need help can't send messages !!

    for some reason I can't send messages over Xbox live . I can play on line and join parties but I can't send anything out . Every time I click on the link I follow the directions nothing seems to happen ! Please help

    Hey there AjarAardvark599!

    Sorry to hear about the connection issues!

    Let's start by testing your Xbox Live connection. Follow the steps on that page and post back any errors you may get in the 'More Details' screen at the end of the
    test.

    Also, please post back with what the brand and model number of your router and modem is.

    That information will help us a lot! I get kicked out of every XBOX live game I play, and can't join or play parties. :)

  6. There are no errors in the test........ Everything runs successfully and connects. Our main user is Mindsteeler. We can play in parties of people far away, but people who live close to me we cannot connect to. And, it just constantly kicks us out of every
    game.

    We have a Comcast Technicolor TC8305c modem and we have not changed any settings in it at all. There is nothing special in our modem I am an IT Specialist.

    Currently there are known issues with the Technicolor TC8305C's firmware that causes these type of issues. Refer to our Technicolor
    TC8305C Known Issues post for more details on the issue.

    It is best to contact your ISP for replacement hardware, or to have them set up your Technicolor TC8305C in bridge mode and add a router to your set up.

    This is a video game, I am not adding another router to be able to play simple games then adding my own firewall...

    Our router works just fine, the XBOX Live doesn't. The network test is all good, we can connect to games fine but then we get kicked off. There has to be a problem in XBOX's end somewhere.

    I appreciate your answer but getting a new modem and waiting three weeks for it to get here to find out that didn't solve the problem wouldn't be cool. There has to be more tests including on your end to see why we were dropped from all the games I know
    you get the error codes. The user is mindsteeler.

    Please ask your tech team for a log of the errors for our account.

    I understand the frustration! However, this is a documented issue with the Technicolor TC8305C gateway and to resolve this issue you will need to replace the hardware through your ISP. I recommend looking at a stand alone modem and a stand alone router that
    will work without NAT issues.

    If you experience any issues with the new hardware, please post back and let us know so we can help you get it sorted! I get kicked out of every XBOX live game I play, and can't join or play parties. :)

    Maybe the reset I did yesterday had something to do with it. Well, thank you for listening to me! My son was so upset for the past I don't know how long... I hate to see him like that especially when he was on break, and tonight is his last day on break...
