    i get error code 0x87e00196 when i try to install any game


    Today I tried to install 7 Days to Die, and then instantly I get an error, the code is 0x87e00196, I have tried everything to solve this but the problem persist, any ideas on what's happening?

    Xbox App / Gaming Services - Consistent Problems

    Windows 10 - although I think people have reported the same issue with win11.

    Edit: I have added the error codes

    Error when launching halo: Error code: (0x80070002)
    Error when trying to install/verify any game: (0x87e00196)

    The error appears only for this game or for any other game you try to install.

    If you can also give a few more details than you've tried.

    it happen in my desktop pc, in all games, no trouble with my laptop, I tried reinstalling the Xbox app, resetting and repairing the Microsoft Store and the Xbox App, Restarting my pc, the Windows troubleshooting, Windows PowerShell, and any of that solves the problem, I'm using windows 10 and I have game pass obviously and everything in order, if that info its important.

    Hello again, have you checked if you have the latest version of Windows installed, at 21H2, because recently came out the latest update to Windows 10 and 11?
