I get disconnected from "live" when i play a CD game

Discus and support I get disconnected from "live" when i play a CD game in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; The drive works to play movies, and "live" works to play downloaded or online games - but every time i try to play a CD game, the system disconnects...     I get disconnected from "live" when i play a CD game


    The drive works to play movies, and "live" works to play downloaded or online games - but every time i try to play a CD game, the system disconnects from xbox live??? help?? i have checked my settings and connections, unplugged, etc. If i open and close
    the tray a hundred times, i will sometimes get lucky and it will work.... any ideas?

    My Xbox keeps disconnecting from live

    Every time I entry up my Xbox I put in my disc game and it always says "play game" I press a then once it loads up its a black screen for 5-10 seconds then I get a notification saying "disconnected from Xbox live".I can connect to Xbox live easily it's
    just that once I start my games I get disconnected,I can play my arcade games and other downloads just not disc games.How do I stop this from happening?

    Sounds like you're losing Bandwidth. Start with your ISP Connection first and make sure any other Device (PC/ Laptop or the like) is not on at the same time. If your ISP Package is too slow, too many Devices will eat away available
    Bandwidth.

    Hey Marginal, sorry to hear about the disconnections! Okay, is this happening in all games that you try and play, or only in certain ones? Also, please try re-downloading your profile on the console, using the 'download profile' option in the sign-in menu.
    That should clear things up. :) Please let me know how it goes!
