i went to get on and download the first DLC for CoD Ghosts when I couldn't connect to xbox live. I got the error code 80151909, which is for a messed up profile or something. At first I thought it was something to do with my routor, so i did what it said
and unplugged it. After that, the problem was still there. i don't get that error code all the time, but i haven't been able to connect to xbox live all day. My xbox can connect to my routor and my routor to the internet, but it always fails with internet-Live.
I don't know if it is something wrong with my Xbox or routor, but it hasn't connected since 2 in the morning. The last time i tried was at 4:50 in Ohio. If anyone has any help or knows if it will resolve itself, please do let me know. Thank you

Everytime when I try to connect my xbox profile to xbox live the same error message appears. It says to informe them typing the error code 0x90070490 at xbox.com/errorhelp. But when I try it, it shows that the error doesn't exist... I don't know what to
do. I can't at least play something because my profile doesn't connect to xbox live. What should I do?

Hey there, I would first suggest taking a look to see if you have up to date and verified security proofs on the account by following this link and clicking 'Manage your security info' and sign-in:

support.xbox.com/.../add-security-proof

After you're certain the above is good to go, delete your profile from the console (profile only), clear the system cache, restart the console and re-download your profile.

Delete and re-download profile:
support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

Clear system cache:
support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

I'm having the same issue. Curious you say Ohio because I think I saw another post from Ohio and buckeye express. That's my provider as well and I'm in Ohio. Wonder if for some crazy reason its due to something with buckeye express?

Well when I called for support at buckeye in there service dep you get the recording before being put on hold that they are having connectivity issues with Xbox live and other sites and currently have people working on it. So it is buckeye.

I got the same error code of 80154002 as well. I accidentally created a new xbox live account under the wrong profile on our xbox 360 instead of my profile, and, when I went to try and change the user account linked to the profile, I get this error message.
And I can't find anything online about it either.

can't redownload profile when the console won't connect to xbox live because xbox keeps getting random error codes. I'm finally past that now but I can't properly get past this december update because now there's a new error code after the update downloads,
lol. completely broken on their end, it's not me, its not something i should have to do, they have to look into this problem, im not the only one experiencing it, read the forums.

my ps3 connects fine, my macbook connects fine, my phone connects fine, just the 360 has problems.

I can't put my account on USB cause I deleted it from my hard drive as suggested by this link:support.xbox.com/.../error-code-831188fe.
