I get a message about how to connect offline

I am not given the option of declining the update. I have no connection problem, and although I disconnect from the internet I still get the "update failed" message.

I figure I've gotta be missing something.

I downloaded the game, no problem. But know matter how I try to run it, online, offline, different user, I get the update error and only the "ok" option.

Not understanding why it won't play offline, or more precisely why the machine keeps "acting" online whether it is or not.

I decline the message to connect, but it makes no difference.

I spoke to soon. My wired connection works fine for about 20 minutes, after that it just puts me offline. Checking my network status gives me a message that it cannot get an IP adress.

I keep getting the E101 message about 3 seconds into the offline restore.

Personally I've been having steady connection problems with the game. It must be activision because Battlefield is working just fine but in Call of Duty I'm getting the connection failed message in both the menus, in the middle of games, and after they
complete. I get both an error code one and just a message giving me the option to try connecting again or going offline. I've tried just about everything and nothing works.

I keep getting this message that I'm not connected to the internet but that's not true. I think Microsoft is not connected to the internet. I have to play the games offline because of this.
