I found this bug in the setting (I have xbox beta preview for software updates)

Hi,

The Xbox one update preview is basicly beta. A few bugs or issues my appear in the preview update if the headset worked before your boyfriend accepted the invite, you may want to consider to post the bug on the Xbox One preview update forum and too leave
the preview updates as it is un-stable because it's beta.

If you do not want to leave the beta updates please contact me back and I will see what I can do.

I have the beta preview and the same thing has been having the same issue since the update. This looks like some form of software bug. After the hard reset by holding the power button for about 10 seconds or so. Then after starting the machine it will work
as intended. i have had to do this numerous times so far and every time the hard reset is the ticket. Hope this helps!

Any and all Preview program related bugs/issues/questions need to be asked and posted in the preview forums.

The regular support forum is no place for them. Also the point of pre release software is to beta test it for bugs, there are always bugs if there wouldn't be it would be a full release and they might as well have made it public.

I am loving the updates just wish they would fix the bugs before making them public thats the point of the preview beta

I take it you are in the preview program, then, Cook. Having several updates is kinda the nature of the beast with being in a Beta program, because they have to release update after update to fix bugs found in the previous version. If the updates are that
big a concern, opt out of this program, and you will only get the one (finalized) system update per month.

As for apps and games, didn't they put background installs in the last system update? I haven't had to worry about those for awhile now, either.
