I forgot the family passcode and question. HELP

Are you referring to the LIVE passcode, or the Family Settings passcode? The Family Settings code will not be reset by a recover. If you forgot this passcode you can try answering the security question or calling phone support.

If you’ve forgotten your pass code, you can reset it by answering the pass code question you created when you set up parental controls on your Xbox 360 console. Here’s how:

1. On your console, go to Settings, and then select Family.
2. When you’re prompted, enter any pass code (even though it’s incorrect).
3. When you’re notified that your pass code is incorrect, select Reset Pass Code.
4. When your pass code question appears, use your controller or chatpad to enter the answer, and then select Done.

if you forgot the family passcode, you will need to contact Xbox Support, they will be able with your help to reset the family passcode (As far as I know the code is unique for every console).

This thread is almost 3 years old. In the future it would be better to create a new thread instead of bumping older ones.
