How do I assess my pass code for this and I forgot the answer to my security question

Is the passcode on an Xbox 360 or the passkey on the Xbox One. If it is in fact the family passcode on the Xbox 360. You can follow this Guide to

reset the passcode on the Xbox 360.

If you or your parent forgot the parental pass code, then they will need use the Reset Pass Code option. If they forgot the answer to the security question, your only option is contacting
Microsoft Phone Support so they can reset it.

The only way to remove the parental lock is by knowing the pass code, answering the security question if you forgot the pass code, or have the parent call
Microsoft Phone Support.

in order to reset a family passcode you will need to contact Xbox Support, They will need the serial/console ID from the console and will do something on their end, after which they will guide you through the steps to reset it on your end.
