I forgot my guest pin, how does one fix?

Hi Zeke, sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Xbox guest PIN.

A forgotten access PIN can be reset by any adult, if that person knows their Microsoft account password and is signed in on the console.

Try these steps:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Access restrictions.

3. Select Remove access PIN.

4. When you’re prompted to enter the access PIN, enter an incorrect PIN three times, and then enter your Microsoft account password to remove the access PIN.

5. If you want to create a new access PIN, select Create an access PIN and follow the steps.

A forgotten guest key can be reset by any adult as long as that person knows the password that they use to sign in to their Microsoft account on the console. The adult must be signed in on the console to reset the guest key.

With regards to resetting your Xbox PIN, if you forgot your previous PIN yes you will need to make a new PIN first. Once you created a new PIN, you can then manage your PIN via settings to remove it if you don't wish to have one.

After making a new PIN, just Go to Profile & system > Settings > Account > Sign-in, security & PIN > Delete my PIN if you wish to remove it. But for me, I would suggest to have one for your console specially if there are other people using your console just so you have a peace of mind your account is secured.
