I forgot my family settings passcode can you please help me reset it

Are you referring to the LIVE passcode, or the Family Settings passcode? The Family Settings code will not be reset by a recover. If you forgot this passcode you can try answering the security question or calling phone support.

If you forgot your Microsoft Account Password, please visit this website: https://account.live.com/ResetPassword.aspx and follow the on screen step-by-step prompts to change your password.

If you forgot your Family Passcode, you will need to contact Xbox customer support for help resetting this passcode. (Contact them at support.xbox.com/contact-us or 1-800-4MY-XBOX for US and Canada). They will verify you own the account and can help resetting
the Family Passcode.

And Finally, if you forgot your profile lock passcode, the easiest way to fix this is to remove your profile from the Xbox One and redownload it using your login username and password.

Please visit this page here. Click Billing and Memberships > Under Microsoft Account click Forgot Parental Control Code.
