I forgot my family passcode, and I can't reset it.

Are you referring to the LIVE passcode, or the Family Settings passcode? The Family Settings code will not be reset by a recover. If you forgot this passcode you can try answering the security question or calling phone support.

if you forgot the family passcode, you will need to contact Xbox Support, they will be able with your help to reset the family passcode (As far as I know the code is unique for every console).

1. On the 360 dashboard, scroll over to the "System" tab.

2. On the System tab, click "Console Settings".

3. Scroll down in console settings and click "System Info".

4. When the system info box comes up type in this sequence:

LT RT X Y LB RB Y "Left Stick in" (press it in) Y Y

A box should come up and say, "Would you like to reset the console to the factory defaults?"

Click Reset and you're done!

the Family Passcode.

And Finally, if you forgot your profile lock passcode, the easiest way to fix this is to remove your profile from the Xbox One and redownload it using your login username and password.
