I forgot my family lock pass code on xbox 360 how i can reset it

Are you using the Xbox 360 or the Xbox One?

They both have different means to create and ask for codes that would prevent you from playing the games that you want or changing settings when it comes to your console or account.

If you are experiencing this issue on a 360, sounds like you have a Parental Passcode set up. You can get that reset or removed by following the instructions here on our site

If you have a problem with a code being asked on an Xbox One, you might be referring to a Passkey.

You can get that changed or reset by following the steps here on

So I just got a Xbox 360 from my dad, and it has a pass code on it, so I can't do anything on it, I need help resetting the Xbox so I can actually play games on it, no one knows the pass code, so I was wondering how can I reset it without doing
