I finally bought an Xbox one Woohooo

Hi guys, I just got the an xbox one three days ago and I want to buy some games. I really want Ryse but I saw the reviews and no one's saying its a good game

so can u recommend any game for me. Thanks

Now that its finally hot outside, 10-15 a week. We are finally breaking 100+ weather! woohooo

 

Finally bought an Xbox One!!

Black, I urge you to give FM5 a try - I'm not a fan of racing games either, but I have learned a lot from playing FM5 and have grown to enjoy it. Also, a lot of the forum regulars have a weekly get-together to play the game that is usually a lot of fun.
You should join us! It'll improve the game 10-fold; of that, I can assure you.

 

Ryse is a beautiful game with an absolutely immense story, but replayability is limited and Multiplayer has little staying power. It's worth buying at a reduced price I think.

 

Agreed about Ryse, good game and I don't regret buying it, but it is better on sale, or a rental.

If you like multiplayer, Titanfall and Plants vs Zombies have fantastic gameplay, if you enjoy JRPGs, Child of Light was really good. wolfenstein and Tomb Raider were good. Dead Rising 3 is a good time.

 

do not ever pay attention to online reviews..... they are so biased... both good and bad... goto the game... click on the videos.... goto youtube... check out videos... LOOk at what you want to play.. not read about it from someone who probably played it
for 5 minutes, gave up.. rage quit... and wrote a bad review..

Ryse is ok gets boring fast, I haven't played it since i beat it

 

Congrats on the purchase!! I'm finally getting mine this weekend too!! Ryse got mixed reviews but if the game interests you, get it. I'll definitely be picking it up, the graphics are beauitful, the executions brutal, and I love the time period.

 

I just bought Ryse a few weeks ago, and I'm enjoying it. Imo it's better than what the reviews have said.

 

Welcome to the XB1 world there is a lot of great games for the XB1 and weight for E3 in June. XB1 has a big line up on games coming. also the best place you can go to see what games are good to you. go to Twitch and watch live streams on all games that are

Ryse is a good game. It's just extremely short. You could sit down and finish it in an afternoon. It's definitely worth a play through, but not if your paying full price. I suggest a rental. Also, Titanfall and Wolfenstein are pretty good games.

 

GwG next month has Ryse and Forza on sale next month and 2 other games free, TBH i would upgrade to gold for a month and take advantage of the offers.

Ryse is a beautiful game and if you like that sort of game its good, but I did get bored a little quickly, much better in coop playing with people, I want DR3 on GwG.....

 

I'm not sure what everyone is talking about. Ryse was a great game. If you didn't play tomb raider on 360 I would try that out too. You got your system just in time for the next wave of games.

The initial release was mostly the same old culprits (Dead rising, COD, BF, NBA2k, Madden, ect.) They are upgraded versions of what we are use to on the 360. The graphics in games like NBA2k are awesome. Dead Rising has an insane amount of zombies on
screen (with little to no noticeable drop in frames). Battlefield has increased lobby sizes, so you can experience the game how it was meant to be played. I have a feeling next years sequels will be designed with the xbox one in mind (many games were still
focused on last gen).
