    Okay, so I've been spending collective hours messing around making a backup email for my backup email so I can do so much as to log in to Outlook so I can log in to my Xbox account here and redeem this code for 3 Months of Xbox LIVE Gold Membership I won
    in an internet giveaway thing, and for the first million times it said that "something went wrong" which isn't very helpful in solving that something that went wrong, just saying, and to "try again in a few minutes". So I did, but over and over again it said
    the same thing and recommended I go here to Xbox Support, but it didn't help so I waited some more and tried again. I tried to redeem it on my actual Xbox 360, but it either said the code wasn't valid or that there was an "error". Then it started saying that
    I'd already used the code.

    Are. You. Freaking. Kidding. Me?

    Is this some kind of glitch? Did it just take my code and not give me my Gold Membership? WTF? It's 3 in the morning and I've been stressing over this all day because I've been out of LIVE for nearly a month and I was still very much using it when it ran
    out and I'm kinda broke so I can't do anything about it but I thought that something lucky finally happened to me because this is practically the only randomly-selected-winner type thing I've ever won but nope. Of course not.

    Look, I'm tired and I'm going to be honest, Sony does it better than Microsoft. Free LIVE? No billing crap? No "sensitive email security for your own safety" nonsense? That sounds heavenly right about now. Anyways, I know this has turned into a rant now,
    and I'm going to go to bed in a minute, but does ANYONE have ANY helpful tips? I am at the pinnacle of disappointment and hardship right now. #FirstWorldProblems, amirite? Okay I'm done see ya.

    hi guy i feel like xbox is dying ...and it looks like **** compaired to ps4 ..ps4 has much better games better dlc and the best part is that its dashborde looks great ..but on the other hand xbox has not had any new good game worth playing ..or there trying
    to sell you your old games back to you ...dont even get me started on the dashbored because it look so ulgy and you cant change hardly any think about it .....that is why i will not be buying the xbox one x and another reason is that i all ready have a 4k
    100fps beast pc ..and i can play any game in 4k with out useing over 100gb for it ..i ..and i meen like why wood i want to buy the new console .when it just the same as every other xbox one ...you dont wrap a gift in 3 year old used wraping paper for Xmas
    do you ...so why wood i spend 500£ on just 4k ..that if it is even real 4k to begin with ...you no i wood not mind if the dashbored had an avatar that pop up in every think i select in a 3d way were if i go to settings tab. bam my avatar pop up spining some
    gears .too make it look kooler .. i meen it feel like there not even trying ..and i heard they broke even with there sale ..makeing no profit .. i might think about buying one when thay fix there dashbored and makes it a place i want to be at ...now is it
    so hard to have live wall paper back grounds and pop up avatar with little funny s scene ..that wood stand out more ...i meen if it dont look good ..then why wood i want it ....and they need to make it easyer to get to what you need to do on the console whit
    out going left and right all the time ..trying to do one simple think ..it kind of a joke ... and im not just a ps4 fan boy or pc ..iv had xbox for year..ever since 360 .and for some time on the xbox one ....i just dont feel like it worth my time and money
    any more and there refund services is the bigges joke ever...and do you want to no why they dont like refunds ..it because the customer might end up with free DLC ..and this it the same DLC that wont get you far in the game ..but oh no they want to sell
    you little pieices of **** for 20 or 30 pounds extra ..so just because you might get there **** DLC ..and as i said the dlc you get will not get you far at all tho the game to start with ..is why they wont give you a refund because .they feel like you wood
    be cheating then ,when it not about them ...it about us being **** cheated out of are food or bill money..for a mistake buy .....

    The code went through for you. The other cases probably involved you accidentally typing the code in wrong (it happens more often than you think).

  5. Under "Transactions" all it says is 12 Month Gold Membership 3 times, when my Gold ended last month. It doesn't say anything about the 3 Month Gold, and when I try to go onto Xbox LIVE it says I only have a free Silver membership. So I don't think the code
    went through, unless I have to do something else to activate it or something?

    Also I checked very carefully every time to make sure I typed the code in properly, so although I won't say there's absolutely no way I made a mistake, it's just very unlikely I did over and over again.

    Well your account is showing as Gold right now so perhaps the code went through on the website. If this is the case it can take a while for the membership to populate your account. Try this to see if it works.

    On the console go to Settings>System>Network and run a Connection Test. This will log you out of your gamertag. When you log back in it should be working for you.

    Well your account is showing as Gold right now so perhaps the code went through on the website. If this is the case it can take a while for the membership to populate your account. Try this to see if it works.
