    Redeemed Live Gold Membership Code but can't get Games on Gold

    Hello,

    I redeemed an Xbox Live Gold voucher code and now my account says;

    Xbox Live Gold
    Prepaid 12M Xbox LIVE Gold

    Expires on: 03/09/2015

    But when I go into Xbox Live Gold and select 'Games with Gold' it asks if I want to Join and the only options when I click through are;




    • Xbox Live Gold
    • 1 Month Xbox Live Gold
    • £5.99
    or

    • Xbox Live Gold
    • 12 Month Xbox Live Gold
    • £39.99

    But surely I don't need to pay as I'm already a Gold member.

    Any ideas?

    As soon as you want to play online multiplayer games on Xbox through your console, you will need a paid Gold membership.

    If your parents don't want to pay for Xbox Live Gold, you could play Fortnite on a PC for free.

    If you want play only Single player mode, so you don't need Xbox LIVE Gold subscription.

    But if you want play multiplayer, you will need Xbox LIVE Gold subscription.

    On every multiplayer mode in every game, you need Gold subscription.

    So if my friends want to play together on the PC version, they don't need to have the xbox live gold subscription (so multiplayer is free like Steam).

    If I want to play the xbox version with my friends, I can because FH3 is an "Xbox play anywhere" game but i need to have xbox live gold.

    So only the player on the xbox need to have xbox live gold, right?
