    I don't see the Kinect option in the Settings of Xbox One series S


    Hi Guys.

    I tried to connect a kinect to my Xbox One Series S console using an adaptor, but didn't work.

    I suspected that the kinect was defected. However, when I click the Xbox Settings - Devices&Connections, I didn't see the "Kinect" option there, I just saw "Accessories", "Mouse", "Remote features", "Media remote" and "Digital assistance".

    Can anyone help me explain why?

    I don't know if I explained the question well. Any comments are appreciated.

    The XBOX Series S does not support Kinect.

    So I stumbled across this thread, wanted to share what I've learned.

    XBox Series S will not be able to use the Kinect.

    Can you clarify? Are you using an Xbox One S or an Xbox Series S? They are 2 different consoles.

    the xbox one s and the xbox one x need an adapter to make it usb and that also comes with its own power supply.

    the xbox series s and x don't support kinect.

    Are you sure it's not an xbox one s ?

    Xbox one games don't have s /x they are just xbox one games

    You have games that have xbox one x enhanced but that is optional

    They still work with xbox ones

    Series consoles don't have Xbox one in their name they are just xbox series s/x period
