I dont see download option for any albums on my XBox Music app on Windows 8.1 - I have ...

My case is worse. Xbox music on my windows 8.1 laptop seems to be incomplete. There is no radio option neither explore option nor option to connect to my account. I also noticed the application open showing ''Music" instead of "Xbox music".

I looked at my windows update story they look all successful. And tried also uninstall/install from the store. Still no result. Does anyone can help?

I bought Xbox Music pass couple of days back and have been able to download music using my WP8 phone, but the real frustration started when I tried to download the music using my Win 8.1 laptop. When I launch and sign in to Xbox Music app, it doesn't show
option to download the album. The only option I see is to purchase the album. This is not an issue with any select albums, all albums shows the same issue. I can stream the full albums, but there is no option to download at all. Please help.

You'll need to add the album to your collection first, then you should get the option to download it.

Would you be able to tell me what device you are trying to download your music onto?

If you are using a Windows 8.1 PC. Could you list the options you see when you right click in the Application?

Have you also tried a different device to try and download your music onto?

It's an ASUS notebook I am using right now. The options are simple as : unpin from start, pin to start and so on. But my problem here is: It doesn't show the music app as "X-box Music", when I run it. Radio, Explore options are also unavailable.

 

Same with me. I've been struggling just to solve this. Please tell us what's the fix in this. Besides, I can't even find the answers in the internet. This is just the only thread.
