    I don't own Minecraft after merging accounts.


    I know this question was already answered but that answer didn't work for me. So, I merged to a Microsoft account while trying to reinstall Minecraft. When I merged it says I didn't own Minecraft? I know I owned both Java and Bedrock editions.

    Like I mentioned, this is because you are using the wrong email address or the migration process wasn't completed

    I've tried just about everything I can think of, but nothing has been working. I'm for sure I owned Java, but it says I don't own it.

    Yes it is the same account. Infact its the same email. my Mojang account uses the same email as my Microsoft account. This only started happening when Microsoft stated they would be merging accounts with Mojang.

    I did the process of merging and now I no longer own minecraft.

    Did you try the Merge feature on MineCraft?
    It's best to read further information about it: Merging Minecraft Accounts.

    Also, by reading further:
    What will happen to my Mojang account after I migrate to a Microsoft account?

    You won't need it anymore! After migrating you'll use your Microsoft account to log in to the Minecraft Launcher to play the game and log in to minecraft.net to manage your settings.

    So perhaps try the Microsoft account.
