I don't know why I was banned

I was just suspended from Xbox live for 2 weeks for inappropriate language and that kinda stuff. I am not sure why I was banned because I hardly msg people anything even my friends. The only reason I can think of getting banned is that me and my friends
joked around in the party chats by cursing and telling each other to kill them self or something like that. I can see how that's bad but we were just joking around. Is there any way to see the exact things I was suspended for. If so thank u in advance

Any information about the ban would be listed on the enforcement site. The enforcement site does not give specifics.

Suspension length can vary depending on the severity of the situation as well as any previous enforcement actions on an account. So it may not have been terrible, but if you've had previous enforcement actions then that is why it is a longer suspension.

This seems like a permanent suspension. An account suspension completely blocks the affected account from being able to sign in to the Xbox Live service for the duration of the suspension. Account suspensions are issued for a specified duration, often of
1, 7, or 14 days, though egregious or repeated violations can result in a permanent suspension.

Xbox Enforcement web site and if eligible you should be able to request a case review from here as well.

generally the report system is now being used by other players as a tool to get back at players that they cant win against, i received a communication ban on my account 2 days ago after a few days playing only competitive games, the harassment ban will be
ending at a different time to your original suspension so you just have to wait until its over becasue the appeal system for the enforcement team is a joke and nothing ever gets overturned even if you can prove otherwise

Its till year 9999, so will I just be unbanned at some point, doesn't seem like a ban appeal review would be very helpful

You suspension was most likely due to a violation of the code of conduct. Whatever you'd said was reported and when the Xbox Enforcement Team reviewed it could have given a 1 or 2 day suspension or even a week but it appears it was
bad enough for a 2 week suspension.
