I don't know why I was banned, was only given a very generic list of possible reasons.

Short and to the point.

If I do not know what I did wrong, how am I supposed to not repeat the offending action?

Now an extreme analogy.

Imagine that a law enforcement officer arrests, detains, and imprisons you.

You are not allowed to seek counsel, you are not allowed to attend your own trial.

You are simply imprisoned, the only reason given is that the judge was offended.

No concrete reason is ever given, you now live I fear of being punished without any way of protecting yourself.

Microsoft claims that they have morals, I no longer believe this to be even remotely true.

I have seriously considered selling or destroying all of my Microsoft related products.

I have also considered demanding that Microsoft write me a check for one thousand U.S. dollars.

In that case I would be willing to sign legal documents agreeing to never use a Microsoft product or service ever again.

Any information about the ban would be listed on the enforcement site. The enforcement site does not give specifics.

Suspension length can vary depending on the severity of the situation as well as any previous enforcement actions on an account. So it may not have been terrible, but if you've had previous enforcement actions then that is why it is a longer suspension.

This seems like a permanent suspension. An account suspension completely blocks the affected account from being able to sign in to the Xbox Live service for the duration of the suspension. Account suspensions are issued for a specified duration, often of
1, 7, or 14 days, though egregious or repeated violations can result in a permanent suspension.

The enforcement team do not use the forums so no one here can tell you why you were suspended.

You can check any enforcement action on your account by going to the enforcement site
here where you can also file for a case review if eligible.

You can also read the code of conduct there which tells you what is not acceptable on xbox live.

It's entirely up to you if you want to destroy all of your Microsoft products,you wont be getting a cheque for a thousand dollars though.
