I don't know how to friend someone on minecraft.

first you have to link your account to your microsoft account, the you create a server, go to multiplayer and your frint will have to get into that same sever to play together, to add them you have to add them using your microsoft account, if you have
windows 10 go to the xbox companion app and add them from there

I take it you don't know this person?. How would you think this person obtained such info? Maybe a friend or someone you know that knows this info gave it to a friend to be a funny guy. Try checking your friends/whatever that would know your number and check
their friends list to see if that person is on it.

I highly doubt anyone uses this anymore, but I don't know how to go about making Minecraft friends.

So my friends try to friend me and when I accept it says try again. To my friends it says there my friend but it doesn't show up like that for me. I also can't put in minecraft realm sever codes when it says go to friends and enter the code. I play on Nintendo Switch. Can someone please help me none of my friends know how to solve this problem.
