    Don't have required permissions

    my son can't get online play. We signed him up with a 3 month subscription and I checked the settings on my parent account and his account and it's still not working. When I'm signed into my account, it shows I do not have a subscription, but when he signs
    in, the subscription is there. But it still won't work. We already wasted the 14 day trial because of the same issue

    I checked all of the settings and it was not blocked, that's why I said "I checked all the settings" I ended up resetting the Xbox and starting from scratch, by adding my account first and then adding his account to the family and it worked fine. If you
    were trying to be helpful and not just snarky, your response would have included steps to unblock the child's account. Don't waste people's time with responses like this. Thank you.

    Actually yes the 360 did have this capability. At one time you could transfer the rights and permissions to another user. I don't remember if it had to be some one in your family or just some other user on that counsel. I have used it multiple times to
    transfer the rights and permissions when I first started playing on the system. It was the way to purchase the content through my account and transfer the rights and permissions to my son
