I don't have the option to enable mods for my games

I have the insider version of the Xbox app and I have tried to followed the steps on the support page to enable mods for Stardew Valley but I instantly hit a brick wall. The support page tells me to go to the more actions button and enable mods but the enable mods button is not there. The game shows up as being able to be modded but I cant enable them. Also with a new update to the Xbox app, all of my games show up as not being able to be modded even though they can be.

This is the Stardew Valley wiki and it says the same thing as the Xbox support page:

Yes you are right, that is where the enable mod option is if the game allows for mods. It looks like the mod option isn't available at the moment as previous mod enabled games no longer have that option. Also note child accounts will not see the mod option.

i have read that when i enable windows gaming preview that there would be an option for advanced install options that would enable me to mod games

Yes, I understand that, but the games I have mentioned should allow me to enable mods. I'm telling you that the option to do so is gone.

Hello again, I don't know which game was with the mods enabled, but ideally contact the developer to check if they disabled the in-game mods available in the Game Pass.
