I had same code...I just chatted with support they said:

The only reason that your code is not redeeming to your account is because you are on an active paid subscription and there is a bit of a known issue with stacking paid subscriptions and pre-paid subscriptions together. 9:44 am

Your current subscription expires on December 8, 2016, and once expired, you can then redeem your pre-paid code without any issues!

This tends to happen mostly when you have a paid subscription and turn off auto-renew and then try and redeem the code. For some reason, with auto-renew off, it blocks codes in the system. Once your current subscription expires, you can
redeem the code without any issues.

i have an expired credit card on file and have a 3 monh prpaid card that i am trying to redeem and i keep getting this error and this status code pops up...i need my live wat is the issue?

I don't believe that is true. I always have auto renew off and have no problems stacking Gold with a current subscription. It seems to be a widespread technical problem problem right now affecting codes and purchases.

I can't redeem a code or make a purchase directly with my debit card.

I've spoken with support twice and they assured me it is a technical issue that the engineers are working to fix.

I have the same problem, code from Gamescom not rubbed and according to support, the code was redeemed 1 month ago. I'm pissed off!
