I don't have any rewards for buying stuff

I got an email saying if I purchase something through Xbox Live store or pre-ordered game I can receive 6000 points. I went to the store pre-ordered Ghost Recon wildlands spend $106. I have not seen my rewards my account . what is the problem?

Not Receiving Xbox Live Rewards

Hi.

Been a member of Xbox Live Rewards since september 1, 2015.

Everything was fine until July 2017.. Im VIP lvl 5 and have been buying games since then but don't get any rewards. and my friend is buying tha same games and he'll get his rewards.

Have contacted MS support thru chat but couldn't help me and send me here.. So here i am Could any one help me? thanks in advance!

There was an issue that caused our purchase information to be delayed that we are currently in the process of resolving. This has caused your Rewarding to be slowed. We see that you have been awarded a Games on Demand punch, and are currently in the process
of loading your Simply Rewarding completion. You should see the Credits pending on your end in the next 2-3 days. Apologies for any inconvenience caused by this delay.

I think it depends on how well either program works for your spending. I typically don't buy anything on Live unless it's gone on sale. So since they changed the Xbox program back in 2014, I've barely earned any rewards, and earned more through the Microsoft
Rewards program because I don't have to spend money to get points. I also like that with the Microsoft Rewards program I can get stuff that isn't just currency on my account. I can get stuff I'll actually use more like gold or Amazon gift cards. And I can
redeem points for that stuff and get it immediately instead of having to wait for specific deposit dates.

I'm just the opposite. I don't like the vast majority of stuff on Microsoft Rewards. XBL Rewards has been a fun and challenging way to give Microsoft my money. I find Microsoft Rewards more like a chore than a challenge.

I don't know how any of this works, I have no games linked to my account or anything when does this thing work out what we have played etc and the rewards and stuff.

No, but since they don't announce they are adding points to the account its a legit question. Its an honest mistake that I have even made. Going to buy something, "where did those points come from?" then after looking in my billing stuff oh XBL Rewards.
