    Battlefield 3 premium problem(back to karkand)

    You need to download the VERY FIRST Multiplayer Update.

    Here is all the update names (from memory):

    Battlefield 3 Multiplatyer Update

    Battlefield 3 Rent a Server Update

    Battlefield 3 Multiplayer Update 3

    Unfortunately, even if you are able to download it, you're not going to be able to play the VIP maps which I assume is the reason you're trying to download it. I have both the VIP download and the Update#3 in my download history and I've redownloaded them
    both but the VIP maps are still missing.

    Apparently it's a global issue, no one has been able to play the VIP maps for several months now, pretty damn lame.
