    So, I payed for a month of xbox live gold about 2 hours ago and it still isn't in my account, meaning i paid for it, but it says it expired. Can someone help me? Thanks!

    Some People i know don't payed for gold but still played on xbox live Multiplayer.

    Xbox live gold charged me more when I bought live for a promotion said buy gold now get next gold for 4.99 I was charged 10.98. I payed last month for that promo. Called Xbox support said I had to submit it to the forms. That he couldn't help me because
    he never heard of that promotion.

    Keep in mind that you are not paying for free games. It is an extra from MS.

    You are paying to use the xbox live servers.

    A few years ago we didn't even have a games with gold program so we didn't get anything.

    Why do we have to pay for gold ?

    Games with Gold is just a bonus for having a gold sub. There was a time when you didn't get offered anything.

    If you don't like paying for gold then don't but that will limit what you can do on xbox live.
