I DEMAND COMPENSATION - Digital COD:AW Pre-Order Glitched!

This is 100% UNACCEPTABLE. I, along with countless others, pre-ordered and pre-installed Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. I do not have the strongest internet connection, and intermittently downloaded COD:AW
after FOUR DAYS. (3mb/s connection, interrupted by Halo downloading itself? That's a whole different issue.) FINALLY after purchasing the 100$ package for digital downloading (Game, Season Pass, Pre-order goodies) the game finishes and I am
set to play on "Day Zero."

THE REASON I DOWNLOADED THIS GAME DIGITALLY, AS OPPOSED TO BUYING IT AT GAMESTOP, WAS BECAUSE IT WAS
MARKETED TO ME PROMISING "DOWNLOAD NOW, PLAY ON DAY ONE"

This is a promise that was absolutely not kept, (You may understand it as
FALSE ADVERTISING) as due to some unforeseen glitch calling itself an "Update" (Which it probably was, lots of games have day 1 patches.)
MY GAME NOW HAS TO RE-DOWNLOAD THE 46.6 GIGS THAT IS "ADVANCED WARFARE" AND PRE-ORDER PACKS.



I encourage, and respectfully demand, Microsoft and/or Sledgehammer games to repent for this failure to deliver, ESPECIALLY as you have already taken my money.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Digital?

Will I be able to in the future to pre-order a digital copy of CoD: AW for Xbox One via the Xbox Store.

If so will I be able to pre-load it to the Xbox One?

If I pre-order the new COD: AW limited edition it will be day zero edition or no?

 

Couldn't word it better myself, sadly as this is a game I was looking forward to I will be buying a physical copy after work tomorrow regardless of a refund or not.

I will be letting all of my friends know NEVER to pre-load a game due to the lack of acknowledgement of this issue by both parties.

 

I 100% agree and will never be buying digital again after this first terrible experience. Most everyone else has a hard copy I know and is playing now while I wait on a redownload because of Microsoft terrible store. They better offer something to people
who are affected as this is unacceptable when I spent $100 expecting to be able to play at 11:01 CST and here it is 1 am and still waiting.

 

Dont worry guys the hard copy guys have been crapped on as well. it tries to download the entire game from the internet even though we have the disc in the console, it also craps out if you say yes to the update while trying the install

 

I will +#%#&#&#+#($) NEVER NEVER NEVER buy digital preorder again.

 

I agree as well! I have had the same problem as many of you and as of this posting I am still waiting for it to download. I still have a pre order at GameStop that I passed on so I wouldn't have to wait in line. Epic Fail !!!!!!!!

 

UPDATE 11/3 11M : After being on the phone for over an hour twice with Xbox Support and being told "We don't really know what to do at this point." over and over, I reached out to Activision who has had a busy signal all day on their phone lines, I suppose
not wanting to own up to their mistakes. It's been 10 hours and 30 minutes since I started the new download and I'm at 13%. Don't be surprised when it's time for the Class Action Lawsuit.

 

I' was a real sucker I bought the bundle and I set everything up ready to go and could not redeem the code. What kind of ripoff is this. I waited an hour on the phone to s/w Zoe probably not a real name, she told me she had a code that she couldn't redeem
either, but I'll bet she got hers for free. I keep getting the response that it cannot find my code. Microsoft needs to compensate everyone for this disaster, that they had us preorder.
