    MIGRATING A CHILD ACCOUNT

    There is no way to change a child account to an adult except to wait till the birthday that was entered into the account when it was created becomes 18 years of age. When it is 18 you will have the option to promote the account to an adult.

    You can not change your child account to an adult one. It has to age into that. Changing the birthday will not change the account type. You will just have to wait till it ages into being an adult one from that FIRST birthday you entered into it.

    Please remove the parental thing!

    You need to wait until the child account's age reaches 18, then you will be able to promote it to an adult account.

    You can't change the birthday you originally entered.

    Child accounts are "Child Accounts" because they are under the age of majority in the country you live in. It goes off the birthday listed on the Microsoft account when the tag is created. If the child is under the age of majority you cannot just turn
    it into an adult account.
