I couldn’t get my credit card information on my console

I have been trying to put my credit card details on my console and it’s gets rejected every single time. I had a chat with an Xbox live agent and they told me a suspicious activity took place on my account and it was blocked for my safety for about 24-48 hours. I received an email today let’s me know that it’s gonna remain blocked and everything I sent an email back to them hopefully getting a response soon.

we have no ability to look at your account or anything to do with blocks, you'll have to continue with Support

Hi Quaa,

One thing to note when trying to remove a credit card from your account, is that you must have a valid form of payment on your account at all times. Therefore, if you wish to remove your current credit card, you must add a new one first.

What is the exact error you are seeing? Let us know, and we can move forward from there.

I try to change it on the Microsoft account online I go to my billing information with my credit card with my PayPal with my Microsoft account I go to my credit card which has my Xbox live membership on it but there's no edit so I can edit my credit card

After getting hacked and having someone purchase nearly $100 worth of MS points to my card, I was also interested in getting my credit card information off my account. Like the OP, couldn't do it without providing another card number.

One work-around is what I did - I purchased a pre-paid debit/credit card (cheapest I could find was $25 at Target) and switched that with my real credit card. My account took that, and if my account somehow gets compromised again, the purchase will likely
be refused due to lack of funds.
