I could not redeem prepaid code, it says something went wrong!

I'm having a similar error, but my card was bought in the US, where my profile/gamer tag is registered. So why am -I- getting this message? I've had this code for 3 days or so and it STILL isn't working!

I'm having the similar error message when redeeming my code. My gamertag and billing option is set to Philippines, and the xbox live gold card or rather code is bought online from the UK. But when I try to redeem the code, it will show the similar message
saying Something Is Wrong and all that.. What may be the problem?! D:

 

PitiedCookie - for future reference you should create a new thread detailing your issue for assistance.

Gold cards are region locked. This means that your gamertag would need to be set for the UK in order to use that card.

 

I have the same problem .. The thing is the redeem card from my region .. and still the same message comes very time. .. I used more than 2 redeem card and it's works fine
