I clicked an ad on the home page saying I could try a free month of live

Which seemed to just be a bait and switch and false advertising. I just wanted to try live gold to play a few games online to try them out. So I see the ad saying try a month of gold for free... It brings me straight to billing and there was no option to
get my "free" month trial. I went back several times to see if there was fine print... Nothing. It just said I was eligible to try it free for a month.

Well I selected a month, at this point hoping I would get a free month on top of a month paid... Nope. Got charged for a month and told I would be charged another $10 in a month.

Thanks Microsoft got your false advertising and bait and switch tactics.

Xbox Live Gold free trial not available.

I clicked on the console homescreen ad that offered a free month of Gold, then clicked on "Try Gold for 1 month". I was taken to the store, but the one month free trial option is not present. I tried restarting my console and signing in and out multiple
times, and neither action fixed the issue.

 

Missed opportunity for purchase of 3 month with additional 3 month included

Around 11pm, i saw on my dashboard on the home tab, an Ad introducing the Xbox one, that had also promoted xbox users the ability to purchase a 3 month subscription of Xbox live, with an additional +3 months included within the
purchase. As i clicked on the ad, it asked me to pay using a credit card, but i did not have one obtainable upon purchase at the time. As of 5 pm to get on xbox live again, the ad has disappeared from the dashborad and will not come back.

I was wondering if i could still be able to purchase that deal of the 3 plus 3 more months of xbox live. I'm not sure if the ad wont come up cause i had already clicked on it, but i wanted to know if there could be an alternative
way to buy this deal.
