    How Do I Transfer My Xbox Live Gamertag to a Different Microsoft Account?

    What I mean is there should still be a way to get the game and Gamertag back for no cost. I only play Minecraft, so it isn't as big a deal to lose all the achievements, but there should be a way to keep my Gamertag and the game itself. I want to be able to transfer my Gamertag to a different account. If I delete my Gamertag and change it on my dad's account, then can I set my Gamertag back to what it was originally with no changes to it on my new account?

    Unfortunately there’s no way to change it to anything more than 12 characters, like the other guy said

    I'm afraid you can't. Gamertags must meet the current requirements for the tag at the time the change is requested. If your old tag no longer meets the requirements, it's not available.
