I changed my gamer tag but I didn’t work

Discus and support I changed my gamer tag but I didn’t work in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; So i logged in and for some reason my name was Jetmountain411 or something similar and i tried changing it to “[Mod Removed]” but when i pressed save...     I changed my gamer tag but I didn’t work


    So i logged in and for some reason my name was Jetmountain411 or something similar and i tried changing it to “[Mod Removed]” but when i pressed save it “saved” i looked back and it didnt change, can anyone help?

    The gamertag you've posted violates the ToU/CoC which is probably why it hasn't changed.

    If that tag does somehow go through it'd only be a matter of time before it got reported & you are issued a forced name change.

    We recommend to attempt following our how to add or remove a Microsoft account on Xbox One support
    article for the steps on removing the profile and adding it back to see if the change is made. Try this out for us and then let us know the results.
